Prepare for the Bolder Boulder with 10K training

Small Group Atmosphere With Big Time Results - A perfect fit for those training for the Bolder Boulder or individuals who desire the comradery of a group. The goal of this class is to meet you where you are and help you achieve 10k fitness level. Each week we will meet outside the rec center entrance and work on speed, strength and endurance. Beetlemania Family Day at the CU Musuem of Natural History

Saturday, Feb. 23, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Immerse yourself in Beetles! We'll zoom in on some of the 600 beetles in our exhibition to explore the amazing things they do: from saving Africa from being covered in dung, to lighting up the night in wondrous ways. Join us as we explore their myriad differences in size, shape, color, taste and behavior through hands-on science and art activities for the whole family. Don't miss original collage artwork from Steve Jenkins' "The Beetle Book", a 2012 NY Times Best Illustrated Book.

Learn how to dance salsa

Greetings friends! This is a reminder that the Boulder Chapter of Ritmos Latinos, a student organization, will hold classes in basic salsa on Tuesday, Feb. 19. Come join us at the Dennis Small Cultural Center (UMC, 4th floor, Room 457) from 7:30-9:30 p.m. You'll learn how to dance both partner and rueda style salsa at no charge. No partner is necessary but feel free to bring a friend! Classes are open to all members of the CU Boulder student, staff and faculty community.

We invite your participation in an exploratory research study on the use of Mendeley on the CU-Boulder campus. We are collecting survey responses designed to measure use habits, experience and perceptions of Mendeley as a useful research tool, to inform future implementation and support decisions. Peace Corps Palooza at CU-Boulder

Come help us celebrate the Peace Corps! Thinking about the Peace Corps? Come learn what it is like from returned Peace Corps volunteers who have served all over the world! There will be free snacks and a dance group! Our keynote speaker is CU Boulder alumni and Honduras RPCV Ryan Van Duzer. After finishing his service in Honduras, Ryan rode his bike home from Honduras to Colorado. He works as a Bike Advocate and a TV Host/Presenter. When: March 11 at 6 p.m., UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
