ChBE Student Annual Research Symposium

We are pleased to invite you to the 2013 Student Annual Research Symposium (StARS) to be held Monday, September 30th in the JSC Biotech Building. This year's symposium will showcase the leading research being conducted in Chemical & Biological Engineering and serve as an avenue to make connections to industry and national labs. Volunteer at the Women's Resource Center

The WRC is looking for volunteers for the coming school year. Volunteers allow the WRC to help create a campus environment where women will thrive by providing resources and collaborating on a variety of projects. The program gives volunteers the opportunity to learn about and engage in gender equity and social justice work, as well as develop important leadership, networking and professional skills. Screening of Carl Sagan's COSMOS series by CU-SEDS

CU Students for Exploration and Development of Space is screening the acclaimed space-science documentary series COSMOS: A personal Voyage,a 13-part award-winning series made popular by famed astrophysicist, the late Dr. Carl Sagan. Carol Conzelman to lead global seminar study abroad program in Coroico, Bolivia

Students can earn three credits this summer while studying democracy and development in this off-the-beaten-path South American destination. Current Bolivian politics are dynamic and innovative. Students will gain an inside perspective of the livelihood strategies and political organization of rural Yungas communities with a unique cultural and agricultural history.
