Starting Dec. 5, the University Libraries will expand hours for the Norlin Commons, Norlin East Desk and Norlin Library in advance of Finals Week, allowing the libraries to increase student support during the lead up to, and during, final exams.

All network traffic to and from the campus will experience an interruption of approximately 15 minutes between 5:45 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, due to a software upgrade for campus border firewalls. Read more.

Did you know CU employees can get home down payment assistance from Landed?

Landed offers a shared equity down payment program––which provides up to $120,000 toward a down payment––as well as other helpful home buying supports. Landed is increasing their funds to $150,000 to employees who meet with Landed by the end of this calendar year, with the option to use the funds for 60 days.

This December, Landed is hosting online information sessions for all employees interested in learning more about their services and the home buying process. These sessions are designed to be useful even if you are just beginning to think about homeownership. Register for one of the sessions below:

The university is searching for the next director of the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History.

As administrative head of the museum, the director will be responsible for providing vision and strategies for the future and by overseeing its management and financial operations. Candidates will be expected to have a thorough understanding of how natural history museums work as a research facility, the legal and ethical policy issues applicable to cultural heritage organizations and public interface to science.

The Engaged Arts and Humanities Graduate Student Scholars program helps graduate students apply the tools of their academic disciplines and their unique interests to community-engaged scholarship projects (outreach, research, teaching and/or creative work), and provides funding for this work. A key program goal is to develop a strong cohort and community of learners committed to equity-oriented community partnerships. Students should have an interest in and ability to apply the tools of an arts and humanities discipline and their life experience to work with Colorado communities beyond the university.

We encourage applicants with diverse perspectives and at varied stages of their development as community-engaged scholars, from new to experienced, to apply by Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, to become part of the 2022–23 cohort.
