Biodiversity conservation and climate change in high mountain Asia

CAS Luncheon Series. An introduction to the world of snow leopards, snow leopard conservation and climate change adaptation in High Mountain Asia. The presentation will include a general overview, an introduction to "Snow Leopard, Stories from the Roof of the World," and a summary of a recently completed mid-term evaluation of the USAID-funded, WWF-implemented program “Conservation & Adaptation in Asia’s High Mountain Landscapes & Communities." Among Dreams: Art exhibit by LGBT veterans

A traveling art exhibit by and about veterans and active duty members who also identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender. Among Dreams honors the voices and traces the invisible histories of LGBT veterans and active duty members through short experimental films, photographic portraits, quilt-work, text-based art and collages. Can you write a great essay that includes Boulder in some way? The Dick Shahan CU-Boulder Undergraduate Writing Competition gives all CU-Boulder undergraduates a chance to win a $1,000 prize for the best nonfiction prose. Submissions may focus on any aspect of Boulder culture or life. They may take the form of a narrative, descriptive, literary or analytical essay. Deadline is Tuesday, March 1.
