CAS Luncheon Series. An introduction to the world of snow leopards, snow leopard conservation and climate change adaptation in High Mountain Asia. The presentation will include a general overview, an introduction to "Snow Leopard, Stories from the Roof of the World," and a summary of a recently completed mid-term evaluation of the USAID-funded, WWF-implemented program “Conservation & Adaptation in Asia’s High Mountain Landscapes & Communities." A traveling art exhibit by and about veterans and active duty members who also identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender. Among Dreams honors the voices and traces the invisible histories of LGBT veterans and active duty members through short experimental films, photographic portraits, quilt-work, text-based art and collages. The Dick Shahan CU-Boulder Undergraduate Writing Competition gives all CU-Boulder undergraduates a chance to win a $1,000 prize for the best nonfiction prose.
