The Center for Multicultural Affairs 25th Annual SOUL Food Dinner

Please join the Center for Multicultural Affairs as we celebrate Black History month with our 25th Annual Soul Food Dinner on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at C4C Dining Center, from 5-8 p.m. Our featured quests will be The Second Baptist Church Community Choir of Boulder and the CU African Singing Group. Teaching with Desire2Learn and Google Apps

Event Date Thursday, Feb. 28 - 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Desire2Learn is one of the industry’s fastest growing learning management platforms. Google Apps is reinventing the ways that businesses and educators think about collaboration, resource sharing, and creative works. This 30 minute presentation will look at how these two industry leaders can support, improve, and even remake teaching and learning at CU-Boulder. Fun Research Projects for Kids!

The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is looking for children age birth to 14 years old who are interested in playing games that will help teach us about memory and language development. A visit, scheduled at your convenience, lasts about 30 minutes. Babysitting is available for siblings. Parents are compensated for travel and kids receive a fun prize. The Tunnel of Oppression

Hallett Hall’s Diversity Program would like to invite you to the annual Tunnel of Oppression program. This program aims to educate people on the different types of oppression that exist today. Through visual representation, we hope to demonstrate the different ways in which various forms of oppression are still prevalent in our society and campus. The program will take place March 3-5 in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom and is free and open to the public.
