Fulbright Grant Information Meeting – Thurs. Mar. 14 at 3 p.m.

CU-Boulder is a top producing campus of U.S. Student Fulbright grants. Come to an information meeting to learn how you can apply for a Fulbright grant to do overseas study/research or to be an English teaching assistant overseas. These grants are for U.S. citizens who will have at least a bachelor's degree at the time the grant starts and have not completed a Ph.D. at the time of application. Where: C4C S350, Thurs. CU Honors Journal launch forum

Come celebrate the 2013 CU Honors Journal during a launch forum presented in part by the Cultural Events Board! The CU Honors Journal is an interdisciplinary student-run publication featuring undergraduate work from all areas of academia. Admission to the forum is FREE and light refreshments will be served during an afternoon of art, discussion, and distribution of the 2013 edition of the Journal. Everyone is welcome - bring a friend! *Located in the Glenn Miller Ballroom (UMC) *between 2-6 p.m. *on Sunday, April 21.

2013 graduates don’t miss the grad fair! The fair is Monday, March 18, 10 a.m-3 p.m., and Tuesday, March 19, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Glenn Miller Ballroom. Purchase your cap & gown! You can also order graduation announcements, visit with Career Services, the Alumni Association and much more. Get a portrait taken in cap and gown. There will be food, prizes, and much more.

Deadline for student writing contest Tuesday, March 19 at 5 p.m.

Each Spring, the Center of the American West awards cash prizes to talented CU- Boulder students writing on Western topics. All CU-Boulder degree students - undergraduate and graduate - are eligible to enter. Categories include poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, academic non-fiction and memoir. The work must have as its topic or theme some aspect of the American West. First place winners receive $500. The entry deadline is Tuesday, March 19. The CU Environmental Center Student Board is now accepting applications. The E-Center is the nation's largest and most accomplished student-led center of its kind. By translating student leadership into action and engaging the campus community, the Environmental Center helps CU-Boulder to become a global leader in sustainability. Take a short survey on what motivates YOU in non-major classes!

A group of Lead Graduate Teachers is conducting a survey on what motivates or demotivates students in classes outside of their major (for gen. ed. requirements). Currently enrolled CU students who have taken a class outside their intended/declared major are invited to participate.
