The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is looking for children ages birth to 12 years old who are interested in playing games that will help teach us about self-control, language and cognitive strategies.
A visit, scheduled at your convenience, lasts about 60 minutes. Babysitting is available for siblings. Parents are compensated for travel, and kids receive a fun prize.

The city of Boulder is hosting an on-campus open house on Monday, Oct. 29, to present proposed bike and pedestrian improvements to three busy intersections, Colorado Avenue and Regent Drive, 29th Street and Baseline Road, and 30th Street and Colorado Avenue. This will include updates on a planned underpass at 30th and Colorado.
The open house is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sustainability, Energy and Environment Community (SEEC) building on East Campus.

Earn $15–$25 per hour to participate in studies involving answering questions about your thoughts and feelings, watching brief videos, playing computer games and having an MRI brain scan taken. Our group wants to plan out and organize a community garden plot or possibly many small plots throughout campus. Please help us gather data on its use and location! The goal is to have somewhere for students to be able to grow their own food and spend more time in nature.
In honor of International Education Week, Nov. 12–16, Education Abroad and International Student & Scholar Services is announcing a photo contest open to current study abroad students, recent study abroad returnees and current international students and scholars.
Eligible students/scholars are welcome to submit up to three photos for a chance to win a prize. Entrants are encouraged to submit photos that reflect IEW’s mission of promoting international and intercultural understanding.
The deadline to submit photos is 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21. Please read the rules and eligibility requirements carefully before submitting.
Three winners will be selected from Education Abroad submissions, and three winners will be selected from International Student & Scholar submissions. Winners will be honored at an IEW Coffee Hour on Friday, Nov. 9.
