On Dec. 17-19, our area experienced high winds and power outages, which means that some residences lost power for extended periods, which may cause food to spoil – even if it looks or smells ok. Consuming food that has been unrefrigerated can lead to serious health risks, including foodborne illness.

The Integrative Physiology of Aging Lab is looking for volunteers to study the potential healthy aging effects of a new type of breathing exercise (a time-efficient type of exercise), compared to brisk walking, on blood pressure and blood vessel function.

The SHINE Lab at CU Boulder is recruiting teams for a cognitive neuroscientific study about processing limited information during a Mars Rover Mission. Our goal is to understand how different brain systems relate to behavioral performance and to psychological concepts measured by self-report measures. You will wear a mesh cap on your head that has light optodes attached to it that measure changes in blood flow (functional near infrared spectroscopy). It lasts approximately three hours, and you will receive compensation for your participation.

The Masters of the Environment (MENV) Graduate Program at CU Boulder is launching its 10th Capstone Partner cohort, marking a decade of real-world sustainability impact. Since 2016, MENV students have completed 223 consulting projects with public, private and nonprofit partners, gaining hands-on experience while addressing pressing climate and sustainability challenges.
The new policy applies to shipments made via courier or freight, domestic shipments with an ultimate end location that is international, and hand-carried items.
Route W: Williams Village service ends at 11 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12. There will be no Williams Village service between Saturday, Dec. 13, and Monday, Jan 5. On Tuesday, Jan 6, Will Vill will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (every 15 minutes); on Wednesday, Jan. 7, Will Vill will run from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (every 10 minutes). Regular Williams Village service resumes Thursday, Jan. 8.
Late-night Williams Village service: There will be no late-night service from Friday, Dec. 12, through Saturday, Jan 3. Late-night Williams Village service will resume on Thursday, Jan 8.
Route S: Stampede will run limited service (7 a.m. to 6:25 p.m.) from Monday, Dec. 15–Tuesday, Dec. 23. There will be no Stampede service on Wednesday, Dec. 24, through Friday, Jan 2. Limited Stampede service (7 a.m. to 6:25 p.m.) will run on Monday, Jan. 5, through Wednesday, Jan. 7. Regular Stampede service (7 a.m. to 10:45 p.m.) resumes on Thursday, Jan. 8.

During campus portal maintenance, which is next scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 14, you can still access Canvas and some other campus services through direct links (e.g., canvas.colorado.edu).
Enterprise database maintenance on Saturday, Dec. 13, will cause two 5- to 15-minute outages between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. for many campus services, including MyCUInfo, Buff Portal, Canvas and more.
The Buckley Center for Sustainability Education has an open call for 2026–28 SPIKE Faculty Affiliates (SFAs). We welcome faculty involvement in the Buckley Center as inaugural faculty affiliates.
SFAs will be kept informed of sustainability education-related events, activities and developments across campus. SFAs are teaching, research and tenure-track/tenured faculty actively and/or interested in teaching and developing pedagogy and/or student experiences related to sustainability.
