Join our candlelight research study: At Home Circadian Rhythm Assessment.

The purpose of the study is to examine circadian rhythms in the home environment under typical home lighting conditions versus under candlelight conditions after sunset. This work will have important implications for the development of strategies to measure circadian rhythms outside of the laboratory and how evening light exposure influences circadian timing.

We are looking for men and women, ages 18-65, to participate in an at-home monitoring research study that lasts approximately one week, with a total of two short visits at the Sleep and Chronobiology Laboratory at CU Boulder. 

Compensation up to $250.

The CU Boulder Sleep and Development Lab is looking for participants for a research study to learn about how light exposure in the evening affects pupil size in children and adolescents. We need children ages 8-9.9 or 15-16.9 years who are healthy and have no sleep problems for a 6-day study, requiring one short visit to our lab (approximately 2 hours). Families will be compensated for participating.

The Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG) is seeking to fill a variety of positions starting in the fall 2021 semester. No prior experience with GPSG is needed to apply. Applications for all positions will remain open until filled, with the initial round of reviews starting Sept. 15.

Google is applying a security update in Google Drive to make sharing links more secure, which may lead to some new file access requests.

The University of Colorado Board of Regents along with faculty members from each campus award individuals with honorary degrees, university medals and distinguished service awards each year. To nominate someone, the deadline has been extended to Oct. 1. 

Honorary degrees, the highest awards CU can bestow, recognize outstanding achievement in one or more of the following areas: intellectual contributions, university service, public service and/or philanthropy. 

University medals are awarded in recognition of those persons whose achievements and contributions are particularly associated with the university. 

Distinguished service awards are awarded in recognition of achievements and contributions particularly associated with the state and/or nation.
