Students: Highlight your work at the Sidewalk Symposium April 17—with help from a professional chalk artist

The Arts and Sciences Honors Program and Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) invite undergraduate students to share their research and creative works on campus walkways using nothing but chalk. Projects at any stage are welcome. The event will take place on Friday, April 17, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. at the Visual Arts Complex (VAC) plaza. A professional chalk artist will be onsite to support students as they create their chalk presentations.

Not working on a project? No problem! Drop in anytime between 11 a.m.–3 p.m. to learn about students' research and see their projects come alive with chalk.

Eligibility requirements

  • CU Boulder undergraduates engaged in campus research or creative projects
  • Work completed (or in progress) under the supervision of a CU Boulder faculty or staff mentor
  • Students may participate as a group and should submit the application form once (with all students named)
