The Engineering Excellence Fund (EEF) is currently recruiting up to two undergraduate students and up to two graduate students to participate in the committee to start this semester. The application deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 3. Students are encouraged to submit applications early, as interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.
The EEF is a committee of six undergraduate and three graduate students who award funding for student, staff and faculty projects of varying scopes and amounts. Each student member has an equal vote in funding decisions. Additionally, non-voting faculty advisers participate in discussions and provide insight and guidance to the students on the committee.
For additional information regarding the functions and expectations of the committee members, visit the EEF website or email EEF Chair Natalie Clarke at eef@colorado.edu.
Minimum responsibilities
All sitting EEF members are required to attend weekly committee meetings and to read all submitted proposals during the two mini and one major proposal cycles, which occur each academic year. Members often take on additional leadership, development and promotional tasks.
The EEF looks forward to welcoming new undergraduate and graduate members to the committee. Apply now.
