The city of Boulder is getting set to begin construction on the 30th and Colorado underpass project in early March. In preparation, city staff will host a virtual information session from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17. The session will cover project details, as well as construction schedule and impacts.
The project will provide a number of safety, accessibility, mobility and drainage improvements at the intersection of 30th Street and Colorado Avenue. This includes a pair of new pedestrian underpasses, one that will create a new east-west connection and another creating a new north-south connection.
Construction is anticipated to last about 18 months.
