CU's student club for LGBTQ+ STEM students, oSTEM @ CU Boulder, needs volunteers for their upcoming Out in STEM Symposium. Volunteers get a free Out in STEM Symposium T-shirt!

The symposium takes place via Zoom on Nov 6–7. Featured opportunities are:

Nov. 7, 10–11 a.m.
Research Roundtable for LGBTQ+ Graduate Students and Undergraduate Students with Research Experience: Give a five-minute presentation to an audience and share a few thoughts on your LGBTQ+ experience in STEM.

Nov. 7, noon to 3 p.m.
We are hosting affinity groups for intersectional identifies in STEM, and we are looking for hosts for these affinity groups! To host, you must be LGBTQ+ and have one of the following identities: PoC, femme/woman, individual with disability or graduate student. Hosts will help foster community by making sure all participants have an opportunity to introduce themselves, provide conversation topics and remind participants of times.

More information on the above opportunities, as well as other volunteering opportunities, can be found on our Google form. Please fill out the Google form if interested.

Even if you can't volunteer, we hope you join us for this exciting symposium. More information can be found on our event page.
