Are you a CU Boulder student (undergraduate or graduate) working on a research paper, journalistic piece, essay, poem, or short story that touches on a topic related to the American West? Are you writing about public lands, Native American issues, immigration, water or wildfire? Center of the American West is seeking entries for the 18th annual Thompson Awards for Western American Writing. Seven winners will each receive $500. The entry deadline is March 21.
