While many cities in western Asia Minor have had ongoing archaeological excavations for over a century, until recently, little attention had been paid to southern Turkey's ancient provinces of Cilicia and Lycia. This presentation will reveal the various water systems once employed here, including aqueducts and cisterns, and examine construction techniques used in building aqueduct bridges, water channels, pipelines, and other devices found in this rugged landscape.
