In this talk, CU's own John Hanson will attempt to answer some of the questions about ancient urban development in Greece and Rome by drawing on new research that has been put forward in his forthcoming book. He will explore what it can tell us about life in the ancient world and how it compared to the medieval and modern worlds. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Seating is limited.
