In this Nov. 2 talk, LASP research scientist James Mason will describe some of the early results from CU Boulder and LASP’s latest CubeSat project, MinXSS, which focuses on the energetic processes that occur in the sun’s atmosphere. He’ll reveal lessons learned from the student-led project and how the team will apply those lessons to MinXSS-2, scheduled to launch in the first half of 2017.
