We are excited to announce that we will be showing the movie Girl Rising on March 30, 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Humanities 1B80. Girl Rising is a documentary that promotes the global campaign for girls’ education (http://girlrising.com/). They use the power of storytelling to share with their audience the fact that educating and empowering girls to reach their full potential has the ability to transform societies. Peace Corps volunteers have been working with community members around the world to increase the opportunities for women and girls.
