'Talking with My Grandmother: World War I and the Women’s Peace Movement'

Friends of the CU Libraries will host a fall event, Talking with My Grandmother: World War I and the Women’s Peace Movement, commemorating the 100-year anniversary of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, Thursday, Sept. 24, at 4:30 p.m. in Norlin Library on the CU-Boulder campus. Presenter Robin Lloyd will use dialogue, images and letters from 100 years ago to commemorate World War I and investigate its impact on the lives of our grandmothers – and thus on ourselves. A light catered reception is at 4 p.m.
