The wonderful world of bats

Come join Dr. Rick Adams of the University of Northern Colorado for his lecture about one of the most enigmatic animals on Earth! The real-life story of bats eclipses all myths and fairy tales surrounding this misunderstood mammal. Their novel physiology and anatomy that allows both flight and "sight" in complete darkness thanks to echolocation. In addition, their deep social and emotional lives make them one of the most interesting species crucial to our ecosystem. Join us Wednesday Sept. 16, at 6 p.m. at the CU Natural History Museum.
