Where do fairytales come from, what do they tell us, and why do they continue to be a source of inspiration? Learn the answers to these questions by taking RUSS 2231-010 where fairytales are explored through various aspects of Russian culture, including literature, music, film and popular culture. The class is taught in English by Professor Laura Osterman and is approved for arts and sciences core curriculum: literature & the arts. Lecture is 2 to 2:50 p.m. M/W with recitations.
