What is an object and how does our perception of it impact our lives? In this Augmester course, The Modernist Object, Professor Jane Garrity brings students through a literary exploration of stuff. Contemporary “thing theory” and associated schools of thought have suggested that objects act and constitute human subjects in ways we have only begun to recognize.
