Applications for 2016 Alternative Breaks site leaders are open. Alternative Breaks is a student-led group where students participate in a week-long service trip during spring break or a two-week long service trip in May. Site-leaders participate in nine months of leadership development training and work with AB staff to organize and plan all AB trips. In teams of two, site leaders work to secure trip logistics, provide peer education, participant recruitment, community partner relationships and facilitate meaningful reflections on trips.
