This talk will provide an overview of the policies and requirements for data management in place or under consideration at many of the major federal agencies and private foundations that fund research. The talk will feature an in-depth look at the DMPTool, which allows researchers to create customized data management plans, as well as tips for meeting funder requirements for public access to data.
