Building the Road Map: Educate, Inspire, Empower and Transform 2014 marks the 50th commemoration of the landmark 1964 Civil Rights Act. This act, along with the 1965 Voting Rights Act and the Fair Housing Act in 1968, helped establish the legal foundation for equality for all Americans. To honor this monumental legal shift in America, the Diversity and Inclusion Summit on Nov. 11-12 continues “Building the Road Map” that we hope will lead to achieving equality for all.
