Summer ceramics course: Processing the senses

This intensive course will introduce students to the broad and fundamental techniques of using clay as a material for making ceramics. Clay has a rich history of being inherently tied to the senses. With an emphasis on hand-building and wheel-throwing, a variety of ceramic techniques will be demonstrated. Students will complete a series of projects geared toward developing technical and conceptual art-making skills. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED--All levels welcome and encouraged.
