How about a course taught through the LGBT Certificate. Introducing: WMST 3710-100 Global Topics: Global Politics of HIV/AIDS. M-F 12:20 - 2:45 p.m. We will examine AIDS science, sociopolitical causes of the epidemic, global policy and transnational activism. Much of our attention will be on the African continent, given the central role of Africa, both practically and symbolically, in the history of the global epidemic. May be repeated up to six total credit hours. Prereq., WMST 2000 or 2600. Restricted to sophomores/juniors/seniors.
