The Women’s Resource Center presents "Feminist: Stories from Women's Liberation," a film by Jennifer Lee. The film will be screened March 19, at 6 p.m. in UMC 457 in collaboration with the Dennis Small Cultural Center. This documentary takes a look at the Women’s Liberation Movement beginning after WWII up to the mid-1970s. It highlights the intersections of civil rights and the beginnings of the women’s liberation/feminist movements; Lee seeks to teach us the ways in which feminism and liberation have come to be understood in the U.S.
