On Jan. 22, at 3 p.m., the CU Art Museum will host a panel discussion featuring Professor Ruth Phillips and select CU faculty. The event will take place in the Paleontology Hall of the CU Museum of Natural History. The panel will address issues of repatriation and the indigenization of museums, focusing on how repatriation laws, policies and international conventions misalign with indigenous notions of ownership. The event is free and open to the public. Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be served.
