Rumi Club invites you to its Reading Club to read and discuss "The Rose Garden" (Gulistan) by Saadi Shirazi on Tuesday, April 16, from 5:30-6:15 p.m. in C4C N320 student lounge.
"The Rose Garden" is a landmark of Persian literature, perhaps its single most influential work of prose for 700 years. Voltaire, Goethe, Arnold, Longfellow, Emerson, Thoreau, Melville, Franklin and many others discovered, read, and took inspiration from it.
We will provide free Turkish tea and snacks.
