CU students, faculty and staff encouraged to weigh in on state of retail in Boulder

The city of Boulder is seeking feedback from community members on the state of Boulder retail as part of the larger Citywide Retail Study. A shopper questionnaire in both Spanish and English is designed to gather information from community members of all ages, incomes and backgrounds, asking: Are you able to meet your needs for basic goods and services within Boulder? How accessible are shopping areas to your home and work? What characteristics do you seek in a local shopping district?

In July of 2018, the Boulder City Council directed staff to draft a scope of work for the study that reinforces core values of the city: supporting retail that is welcoming and inclusive, environmentally and fiscally sustainable and promotes a sense of place.
