We are seeking caregivers and students ages 14–18 in the Boulder Valley School District to participate in two-hour focus groups about Title IX experiences in the district. Title IX is a federal law that prohibits discrimination based on sex in education, including issues related to harassment, athletics and equal opportunities. If you or your child are interested in participating in this study, you will have the opportunity to: SHARE your perspectives on BVSD’s Title IX policies and protocols HELP identify values, needs, strengths, and points of tension CONTRIBUTE to recommendations for improving Title IX practices and strengthening trust and transparency within the district If you complete the focus group session, you will receive a $20 Amazon gift card.
