The Colorado Family Project, based at CU's Psychology Department, is currently recruiting families for a study of children at risk for bipolar disorder. Eligible families will have a child (age 9-17) with sadness or mood swings and a biological parent with bipolar disorder. Participants will receive a thorough diagnostic evaluation, family-based therapy, and, only if needed, medication management from a psychiatrist. There is no charge to participate.
