Join Fraternity & Sorority Life at this year's Chi-O Rodeo, an event filled with food, line dancing, yard games and even a mechanical bull, to raise money for Make-A-Wish! All students and community members are invited to this event.
Every year, Chi Omega partners with Make-A-Wish to raise money for children with critical illnesses. This year, Chi Omega's wish kid is Amelia, a 7-year-old from Arvada, Colorado, who was diagnosed with leukemia. Her wish is to get a horse that she can keep on her family's farm.
The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. on Farrand Field. It will be $8 to attend. Whether or not you attend, anyone can donate at Chi Omega's Make-A-Wish page.
Share your culture by participating in the International Festival on March 4. The International Festival Committee is looking for CU students, staff, faculty and community members to represent their culture or background by hosting a booth at IFest 2023!
The goal of the annual International Festival is to provide an opportunity for CU cultural student groups, individual students, staff, faculty and Boulder community members to share their culture with the CU community. Participants represent their roots by personalizing their booth using local artwork, clothing, literature, games or other décor that resonates with their cultural background. The greater CU Boulder community can participate in performances and cultural activities as well!

CU Boulder undergraduates are invited to apply and compete at this year's 2022 Public Speaking Competition, run by TEDxCU. The competition will take place on Monday, Nov. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the CASE Auditorium on Main Campus.
The application will close Monday, Oct. 17, at 11:59 p.m. The TEDxCU team will review applications and send a follow-up email if you have been chosen to speak at the Nov. 14 competition.
Finalists will be judged by a panel of past TEDxCU speakers and organizers. First place will receive a $500 cash prize and an invitation to speak at TEDxCU 2023 on April 7, 2023. Second place will receive a $250 cash prize.
All students who will be graduating after December 2023 are eligible to try out to become part of college football's greatest tradition! Open to all current students, Ralphie Handler applications are now open. Please consider applying and completing the tryout process.

Strategic Relations and Communications seeks first- and second-year undergraduates to participate in an hour-long focus group being held throughout the week of Oct. 10. The focus groups will be conveniently held on Zoom.

Come cheer on your friends and support Delta Gamma's Service for Sight philanthropy at the Spike for Sight volleyball tournament.
Students can purchase a ticket for the tournament for $8 online, or buy a ticket at the door. While the teams are made up of Fraternity & Sorority Life members, all students are welcome to come to the tournament to watch, support and donate to a good cause.
Service for Sight is a Delta Gamma-founded organization that works closely with the visually impaired community. The money raised through this organization is donated to the Anchor Center for Blind Children and the Boulder Guide Dogs for the Blind. Learn more about these causes.
The CU Climate Justice Team (CJT) is in place to seek solutions that address the root causes of climate change while educating students, staff, faculty and the Boulder community on the intersection of social, racial and environmental injustices. The Construction Research Safety Alliance (CSRA)––based in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering––partners with industry professionals to understand construction safety needs, conduct scientific research, and share the results broadly as an open-source entity, in an effort to eliminate serious incidents and fatalities in the construction industry.
The annual CSRA Safety Summit is designed for all construction safety professionals in multiple sectors across the globe, including buildings, electric power generation and delivery, oil and gas, marine-dredging, and infrastructure. The event is designed to feature the latest information and research completed by the CSRA through workshops and exhibitions. With more than 300 guests, this will be an amazing opportunity to connect with peers, advocates and leaders in the field.
