Call: T-shirt graphic designer for CU Boulder Culture Crawl

Stipend: $1,500

We are seeking a CU Boulder-affiliated graphic designer to design the official T-shirt for the upcoming Culture Crawl. This T-shirt is worn by Culture Crawl staff and distributed to attendees—last year we handed out over 1,000 tees! The design will also be adapted by an in-house graphic designer to appear on promotional and event materials advertising this year’s event. 

Join a body image workshop hosted by the Crown Institute

Join the Healthy Mind, Body and Voice project for a two-day immersive experience for college students. In this program, students develop skills to talk back to unhealthy pressures about how women* should appear, connect to and listen to their bodies, and create a passion project to inspire others. It is a research-based, peer-led program designed by women* for women*! 

If you are interested in collaborating with the team, this immersive experience can be a great way to learn about our curriculum. Participants will not be compensated  but will be provided with snacks, drinks and lunch.

*all who have lived experience and/or have been socialized as young women

Join a paid study on bipolar disorder in young adults

Join the Young Emerging Adult Research Study (YEARS) study at CU Boulder and CU Anschutz (IRB# 23-2067) to understand emotions. Earn $25 per hour (up to approximately $400 total) for up to three study session phases (1 3/4 hours). Must be 18–25 years, be able to attend in-person sessions, and have a personal history of bipolar disorder or no mental health history.

Paid study on emotions, mood in Mexican heritage young adults

Do you identify as being of Mexican, Mexican-American or Chicano/a heritage? Interested in your emotions and moods? Participate in a paid study to understand your own emotions and mental health in the CU Department of Psychology and Neuroscience (IRB#24-0303)!

Study includes some or all of the following parts (EARN UP TO $30 GIFT CARD)

  • Part A: Online Survey – Answer online questionnaires about your emotions, cultural values, mood and psychological health. Pays $20 for approximately 45 minutes.
  • Optional Part B: Emotion Recall Task – Complete an online emotion memory task and additional questionnaires about your current emotions. Pays an extra $10 for approximately 15 minutes.

To qualify, you must be of Mexican heritage, between the ages of 18 and 25 years old, and fluent in English.

New snow removal website

CU Boulder's Facilities Management team has launched a new website about snow removal, including a livestream of their snow table so anyone can look at the current snow depth on campus. This table has been around for nine years but it is only recently available to the public. 

The website also includes a snow removal map that indicates whose responsibility it is to plow and shovel in areas across campus.

Spring break building access

With spring break approaching, the CU Boulder campus will follow different building access protocols. 

March 24–27: Most buildings will be available via Buff OneCard swipe between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. 
March 28 is a university holiday: Building access will only be available for affiliates with Buff OneCards who have been provisioned for 24/7 access to their respective facilities.

Provost search on track, finalists to visit campus late spring

The search for CU Boulder’s next provost, officially launched in January, is on track. The deadline for nominations and applications has closed, and the provost search advisory committee is now in its quiet phase as it reviews applications, conducts first-round interviews and makes finalist recommendations to Chancellor Justin Schwartz.

Finalists will visit campus in late spring, and the chancellor plans to have a new provost in position by July 1, 2025.

Join the LA Program Info Session and Celebration on April 1

The Learning Assistant (LA) Program is hosting an information session and celebration on Tuesday, April 1, in the CASE Chancellor's Hall.

Info session, 5–5:30 p.m.

  • Target audience: prospective LAs and current LAs and faculty
  • Learn more about what LAs do and how to apply for fall 2025 semester
    • Applications open on March 21; best to apply by April 7
  • Acknowledge the efforts of current LAs, LA mentors, LA faculty and departmental coordinators

Celebration, 5:30–6:30 p.m.

  • Informal meet and greet with refreshments
  • Meet with interested students, current LAs and LA faculty from departments across campus
  • Celebrate all of our hard work so far this semester!
