Worried about the summer productivity slump? Planning on publishing one of your conference papers but finding yourself running around in circles? Need a group to workshop your paper with?
The Graduate School and Office of Postdoctoral Affairs invite all graduate students and postdocs to join a 12-Week Summer Publication Bootcamp. Thursdays from noon to 1 p.m., various locations. Email questions to gradprofdev@colorado.edu. Learn more.
Earn $15 for participating in a research study on memory
We are looking for individuals to participate in a research study on memory. The study will take approximately 90 minutes and participants will receive $15 for their time.
Participants requirements:
- Ages 18–40
- Able to read and speak English
- No history of brain injury, neurological or psychiatric disorder
- No severe cognitive or psychological problems
This study is designed to learn more about the different ways that people can manipulate information about which they are currently thinking, including keeping that information in mind, manipulating it in some manner, and removing that information from your thoughts.
For parents: Cognitive Development Center offers fun research projects for kids
The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is looking for children ages birth to 13 years old who are interested in playing games that will help teach us about self-control, language and cognitive strategies.
A visit, scheduled at your convenience, lasts about 60 minutes. Babysitting is available for siblings. Parents are compensated for travel and kids receive a fun prize.

This position reports to the Training Manager and exists to design and deliver training programs to university employees. Specific functions include delivery, coordination and evaluation of new and existing training programs. This person in this role will research, design and implement trainings.

All-expenses-paid symposium for grad students interested in immuno-oncology
Fred Hutch Immunotherapy Integrated Research Center is hosting an all-expenses-paid symposium for graduate students interested in immuno-oncology postdoc training. Applications are due May 31.
Students nearing completion of their PhD, MD or MD/PhD who are interested in postdoctoral training in immuno-oncology are invited to apply for a three-day symposium in Seattle, Oct. 3–4. Apply now, or email immuno_irc@fredhutch.org for more details.
