This is a critical role for the company and requires dedication and commitment with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone currently attending university, studying aerospace engineering, mechatronics engineering, astrodynamics or a similar field.

Awards will be given for top submissions. Artwork is reviewed by a panel of judges that decides which artwork is accepted into the program and where that artwork will be displayed. The UMC covers the cost of framing, hanging and securing the artwork.

Tickets still remain for the University of Colorado men’s basketball team’s exhibition game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sunday, Oct. 30, in which all ticket proceeds will go toward survivors and first responders of last December’s devastating Marshall Fire in Boulder County.
With tipoff scheduled for 4 p.m., and gates opening at 3 p.m., the exhibition will be the first opportunity for fans to see the 2022–23 Buffaloes while also contributing to a great cause.
Tickets are $20 for chairback seating, $15 for bench seating and just $5 for students. Proceeds will go directly to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund. Tickets are available online or by visiting the ticket office located in the Champions Center. Survivors and first responders can claim complimentary tickets to the game by clicking here.
The exhibition is a collaboration between the CU Boulder Department of Athletics and the Community Foundation Boulder County, which has been working closely with government, business and nonprofit partners to address the immediate, short- and long-term needs of the community following the Marshall Fire.
Many survivors are still struggling to recover, and this exhibition game will put much-needed funds in the hands of those who need it, while providing survivors and first responders an exciting afternoon of college basketball.
The 2022–23 Buffaloes look to use this season to continue to build on their recent success, which includes four-straight 20-win seasons and a pair of Pac-12 Conference top-four finishes.
Labels aren’t a priority for the creative directors behind the College of Music’s popular Pendulum New Music series.
The live performance/forum for new works, which will officially change its name from Pendulum to CU Boulder SoundWorks in January 2023, doesn’t place the same emphasis on formal categorization that obsesses many music fans and scholars alike. According to Egemen Kesikli, Pendulum/SoundWorks’ newly appointed artistic director, the focus of the concert series is more about inclusion, exploration and innovation than it is about classification.

The Pain Lab at CU Boulder, affiliated with the Institute of Cognitive Science, is seeking participants ages 21–70 for a research study with non-invasive wearable sensors.
You may be eligible if you have experienced back pain for the last three-plus months. Participants will be compensated up to $360.

Join Fraternity & Sorority Life at the annual Delta House of Pancakes (DHOP) on Oct. 22. Hosted by Delta Delta Delta, DHOP sells pancakes to raise money to help fight childhood cancer. All proceeds from the event will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in support of that cause.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and open to all students and members of the community. Those who would like to attend can register by donating $5 on the DHOP fundraiser page. You will need to show proof of purchase at the door. If you cannot make it to the event, you can still donate to St. Jude online.
This November, make your voice heard by voting in the 2022 election. CU Boulder has posted a number of resources related to how to register, where to vote and what’s on the ballot this year.
CU Boulder has a proud history of civically engaged students, faculty and staff. In 2020, 80.3% of CU Boulder students voted in the election, earning the university the platinum seal from the All In Campus Democracy Challenge––the best participation rate in the Pac-12 Conference.

A mobile food pantry will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on the UMC South Terrace Plaza. The mobile food pantry is free and open to CU Boulder students, faculty and staff as well as community members of Boulder and Broomfield counties. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) invites CU Boulder undergraduates to participate in UROP’s Sidewalk Symposium on Oct. 18.
Students from all majors, at any stage of their project timeline, are encouraged to participate by creating and sharing their research and creative work with chalk on the campus walkways—all in collaboration with a professional artist.

Have you had a spinal cord injury? If so, we need your help.
The Sensorimotor Recovery and Neuroplasticity Laboratory at CU Boulder and CU Anschutz is seeking persons with a spinal cord injury to participate in a research project to study how low-oxygen therapy may promote recovery of movement.
This study is looking to see how mild bouts of breathing low oxygen may improve leg strength and walking ability in persons with spinal cord injury. The purpose of this study is to gain better understanding of how this potential therapy may help people with spinal cord injury become more independent.
If the following two questions apply to you, we would like to hear from you.
Data we collect will be used to determine if this therapy may increase voluntary movement in persons' spinal cord injury.
The study takes up one to two hours per day, up to 10 days of experimental treatment and training, and up to two days for tests on the CU Boulder campus. Participants will be compensated $25 for each visit and in some cases for travel.

Join Fraternity & Sorority Life at this year's Chi-O Rodeo, an event filled with food, line dancing, yard games and even a mechanical bull, to raise money for Make-A-Wish! All students and community members are invited to this event.
Every year, Chi Omega partners with Make-A-Wish to raise money for children with critical illnesses. This year, Chi Omega's wish kid is Amelia, a 7-year-old from Arvada, Colorado, who was diagnosed with leukemia. Her wish is to get a horse that she can keep on her family's farm.
The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. on Farrand Field. It will be $8 to attend. Whether or not you attend, anyone can donate at Chi Omega's Make-A-Wish page.
Share your culture by participating in the International Festival on March 4. The International Festival Committee is looking for CU students, staff, faculty and community members to represent their culture or background by hosting a booth at IFest 2023!
The goal of the annual International Festival is to provide an opportunity for CU cultural student groups, individual students, staff, faculty and Boulder community members to share their culture with the CU community. Participants represent their roots by personalizing their booth using local artwork, clothing, literature, games or other décor that resonates with their cultural background. The greater CU Boulder community can participate in performances and cultural activities as well!
