During these challenging times, many in the CU Boulder community may be looking to campus resources for assistance. Please know there are many in-person and virtual support and advocacy resources available to you.
New Buffs must complete their insurance selection, immunization record, immunization questionnaire and WellCheck survey by Friday, Feb. 11.
Buffs who do not complete their insurance requirement will be automatically enrolled and billed $1,948 for the CU Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). Buffs who do not complete their immunization or WellCheck requirements will not be able to register for summer or fall classes and will be charged a late fee.
CU Boulder's on-campus food pantry is here to support CU Boulder students who are experiencing food insecurity.
Students are welcome to visit the Buff Pantry one time per week and will receive approximately 20 pounds of food per visit. The Buff Pantry provides shelf-stable products, fresh produce and personal care items at no cost to students. Food and personal care item selection will vary based on availability, donations and time of year. We look forward to serving you!
The Buff Pantry is located in the University Memorial Center (UMC) basement 1B73, near the book store.
Many sites aimed at helping victims of the Marshall Fire have been overwhelmed with physical donations and can no longer take personal or household items. At this time, Boulder County emergency response managers encourage financial support of those impacted by the fire. If you are interested in volunteering, please connect with Colorado Responds or the campus Volunteer Resource Center. Additional opportunities to support colleagues, friends, family members and others affected by the fire will be shared as opportunities become available.
For those who wish to donate at this time:
Law enforcement warns people should be wary of possible giving scams. Learn more on the Boulder Office of Emergency Management website. The Office of Information Security has more information to keep you safe online.
Helpful guidance from a professional counselor is available in 9 ways to support someone who lost their home to a fire.

Join us as a presenter at the 2022 Women’s Leadership Symposium! This year’s theme is Filling Each Other’s Cups: Collaboration and Compassion.
The symposium seeks to explore a variety of ways women/women-identified individuals build their leadership skills and feel empowered to become tomorrow’s leaders. We are especially interested in proposals that will intentionally address the needs and interests of student audiences as part of the submission. Intergenerational or multi-audience proposals are also highly valued.
We encourage staff and students to collaborate on proposal submissions that address our key themes:
The deadline to submit is Jan. 7, 2022.
