The UMC is accepting applications from student organizations for free office space or lockers for fall 2023.
A central office is a fantastic way for your recognized student organization to become more accessible and productive, which will help you grow membership, promote your message and fulfill your mission. In addition, the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) has lockers available for student organizations to use.

Would you like some added support as you prepare to move into private-sector work? Salute Colorado, a local non-profit, offers mentors, networking events and educational programs to support your transition from military service to civilian career.
As a veteran student, you are a candidate for FREE support, networking and mentorship in Salute Colorado's 2-year “Valor Journey” program. The program can continue after graduation; it’s not limited to your time enrolled in classes. Act now since the deadline for applications is Feb. 15.

Email phishing attacks often come during holidays when campus IT support has reduced hours. Even when you can’t contact the IT Service Center, there are still clues to help you figure out if an email is legitimate or a phishing attempt.
The CU Boulder campus will have reduced services and operations Monday, Dec. 26, through Friday, Dec. 30. During these days, all academic and administrative offices will be closed. However, areas providing essential services will remain open. CU Boulder will resume normal weekday operations on Monday, Jan. 2.
The University Libraries will have limited hours during the winter break, and we will be closed Dec. 23–30 with the university to allow employees time off during the holiday season.
During maintenance that affects the portals, such as the maintenance scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 18, remember that you can directly access Canvas and some other services that are provided through the portals.
We invite anyone in the Denver/Boulder metro area to apply to speak at TEDxCU. The event will take place on April 7, 2023, in Macky Auditorium on CU Boulder's Main Campus.
The theme will be decided after speakers have been selected. We always shape our theme around our speakers!
Applications will close Jan. 1, 2023, and we will not begin reviewing applications until after that date.
All TEDxCU talks must comply with the TEDx content guidelines. TEDxCU will not promote any commercial agenda, inflammatory rhetoric or unsubstantiated scientific claims.

The WeatherTech Cafe in the C4C will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the weeks Dec. 5–9 and Dec. 12–14. Students can bring food into the study space, but the WeatherTech will not be serving food during this time.
Don’t forget to return your textbook rentals to the CU Book Store before you leave for winter break! Textbooks rented for fall 2022 are due by Dec. 16. If you plan to ship your rental books back, find instructions here.
If you purchased your books and want to sell them back, the CU Book Store will be buying textbooks Dec. 8–16 at the store in the UMC. See website for hours.

The CU Alternative Breaks program sends teams of college students to engage in meaningful service during their breaks from school. Get the opportunity to explore the United States while making a difference through service, reflecting upon your experience and creating long-lasting connections with others.
This year’s programs include work to support the humane treatment of animals, improve the lives and homes of those affected by natural disasters, build sustainable environments with natural conservation and provide resources to families in need or struggling with food accessibility.
