University Libraries is pleased to invite CU Boulder educators to apply by July 1 to participate in a Course OER Adoption Initiative. All educators with academic year 2019–20 paid appointments, including instructors/senior instructors, temporary/permanent faculty and graduate part-time teaching instructors, are invited to apply.
Selected participants will adopt an open educational resource (OER) and integrate it into an existing spring 2020 undergraduate course. Integrating the OER may result in course materials costs savings to students, afford the educator new pedagogical possibilities and inspire the educator’s thoughtful redesign of content sequencing or course assignments.
Participants will be awarded a $1,000 stipend upon completing their successful OER adoption and course integration and submitting a portfolio by May 31, 2020, that documents the integration and evaluates the course.
