Most students don’t know how to identify fake news, according to a recent study. The "Combating Fake News: How Teachers and Librarians Can Promote Critical Thinking" panel featuring CU Boulder and Boulder Valley School District librarians will explain how teachers and librarians are a pivotal force in helping students critically engage with information and sort out fake news. The event takes place Wednesday, April 19, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Education Building, room 231, and is free and open to the public.
