Each year, Center of the American West awards $500 cash prizes to talented CU students writing on Western topics. Categories are poetry, fiction, memoir, creative non-fiction and academic non-fiction. You are welcome to submit material that you wrote for a class assignment, as long as the theme is rooted in any aspect of the American West. And of course, writing something new is good, too!
