Please join us in celebrating CU’s two newest Astronaut Scholars! Matt Hurst, aerospace engineering student, and Matthew Winchester, engineering physics, have been awarded the prestigious Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) award. The ceremony and reception will take place on Nov. 2 at 12:30 p.m. in Andrews Hall. Former astronaut and ASF chair Dan Brandenstein, who flew several shuttle missions, will be here to present the $10,000 awards and give a brief talk about his adventures in space. A reception will follow the ceremony.
