Free public lecture, 'Crumpling and Wrinkling of Polymers and Membranes'

Location: DUAN G1B30 Tuesday, July 7, 7 p.m. The lecture is free and is aimed at the public, so no physics background is necessary. It will be presented by one of the authorities on the subject, a distinguished Harvard Professor, David R. Nelson, a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences who studies the fascinating world of modern ‘soft’ condensed matter and physical biology.
