Researchers at CU Boulder seek heterosexual romantic couples of healthy individuals between ages 18 and 55 for laboratory and brain imaging (fMRI) studies on pain. Our studies use heat pain, similar to holding a cup of hot coffee. Pain is always kept at a level that is tolerable for you. Both members of the couple receive $12-$24/hour for participation.
