For Research on Pain: $168 We are seeking healthy individuals between ages 20 and 40 for laboratory and brain imaging (fMRI) studies on mechanisms of pain and emotion. Studies use heat or cold pain. The pain is tolerable. The study takes about seven hours. We pay $24 per hour or $168 for completion. We also reimburse travel costs.
