Marcus Perman of the Tsadra Foundation will discuss the culture of books in Tibet. Compared with the Judeo-Christian tradition, in Tibetan cultures there is a different relationship religious texts. Perman will explore practices related to "the culture of the book" in Tibet by discussing Jamgön Kongtrül Lodro Thayé and the massive collections of texts he assembled.
