Mining in Colorado: A Historical Perspective at the Earth Sciences Maps Library

This display highlights maps and other artifacts that represent the prominent role the mining industry has played in the state's history and development. Items in the display include historical maps of Boulder County, the Cripple Creek and Clear Creek mining districts, and mineral deposits found in the state. You can learn more about the history of mining in Colorado by visiting the Earth Sciences and Map Library located in the Benson Earth Sciences building. On display this summer.
