CU Museum of Natural History closed for construction

The CU Museum of Natural History, located in the Henderson building on Main Campus, will be temporarily closed between July 1 and the end of the year.

Museum Institute Director Nancy Stevens said, “This closure has been timed to coincide with the very end the Hellems renovation project, and both buildings will reopen concurrently, refreshed and ready to warmly welcome students, the larger campus community and visitors to our campus”.

Until then, CU Museum will be accessible to campus partners by appointment only and on a case-by-case basis. Members of the public can engage with special content and programming via the Museum From Home page. Please contact cumuseum@colorado.edu to submit a request for more information.
