UROP student project grant applications due Feb. 13

Applications for student project grants planned for either summer 2026 or academic year 2026–27 are due by Feb. 13.

  • Assistantships ($1,000–$2,000) provide funding to students to partner with a faculty mentor to help on an existing project. Get details.
  • Individual Project Grants ($1,500–$3,000) allow students to take ownership of part or all of a project with an original proposal. Get details.

Eligibility: Students must be degree-seeking undergraduates at CU Boulder to apply for UROP funding and should not plan to graduate before the end of a proposed project's grant term. All students must be supervised by an eligible mentor. Tenured/tenure-track research and teaching faculty, professional researchers and practitioners, and postdoctoral scholars at CU Boulder and CU Anschutz are eligible to mentor student project grants.
